Limited Site Access and Licensing

Shipping Agreement / Agreed Risk of Loss
All items purchased from Futonology.com are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such products pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Description of Products
Futonology.com attempts to be as accurate as possible. However, Futonology.com does not warrant that product descriptions, color swatches or other content of this site are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Please note that if you are concerned about exact color and pattern match; dye-lots and textures vary with each bolt of fabric provided by the manufactures and mills. Wood grain, wood stain/paint, and metal finishes may vary from photos provided as well. If you purchase a product offered by Futonology.com and it is not as described when you receive it, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition and original manufactures packaging.

Website Policies, Store Policies, Modification, and Severability
Please review our other policies, posted on this page. These policies also govern your visit to futonology.com and our Futons Etc of San Diego affiliate. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Terms of Use at any time. If any of these terms shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that term shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforce ability of any remaining term.
Shipping Policy
Please inspect your all product(s) and note any damage at time of delivery on your delivery receipt/shipper freight bill.
50% discount to San Diego Locations Standard Shipping Promotion: Futonology, LFC, Inc. Reserves the right to discontinue our shipping promotion at any time. Our 50% discount shipping promotion excludes locations outside San Diego County; the SD delivery discount code must be entered upon original purchase and may not be redeemed at a later time. This delivery promotion is for San Diego drop off only of un-assembled items. All Futonology Shipping Terms, conditions and policies apply.
Oversized items:(Inner-spring futon mattresses, frames, platform beds, chests and other large items): Shipped via common carrier. Standard ground shipping is designated as curbside delivery with-in seven to fifteen business days. This does not include set-up or assembly, because delivery is provided by a third party. Cost may range: $89.00 -120.00 for each item or a frame and/or futon (we do not provide delivery to Hawaii or Alaska).
Small items: (Otis® futon Mattresses, Bean Bags, futon covers, pillows and other small accessories): Anything that falls within UPS, Fed Ex or D.H.L.'s size limits will be delivered via Ground Service with-in seven to fifteen business days. A shipping and handling charge of $13.40 - $49.00 for each item (we do not provide delivery to Hawaii or Alaska).
Standard Ground Shipping: Shipping charges will automatically be added to your final invoice, based on the items purchased, and their size. Expedited Rush shipping is available for an additional charge. Please review the rush shipping options provided to determine charges and arrange shipment. If you are not presented with shipping charges when you check out, your invoice will be transmitted to Customer Service, and they will contact you within 3-7 business days to provide you with the shipping charges. All Shipping charges are non-refundable. Although shipping charges are built in or free with certain accessories and packages, actual shipping charges are non-refundable. Currently we do not provide shipping outside the contiguous 48 states.
In-store Pick Up: Is available for most products at our Futons Etc of San Diego retail Affiliate. Upon check out select the In-store pick up option, there is no charge for this service. Your invoice will be forwarded to Customer Services Department whom will call you within 1-3 business days to make a pick up appointment. Most items will be made available for pick up with-in 3 to 15 business days. Upon picking up your items, please provide our Futons Etc San Diego retail affiliate a printed copy of your online purchase confirmation.
Warranty Policies
Wood is a natural material with variations of color, shade, configuration, streaks and grain structure. Each individual piece of Futonology furniture has characteristic markings that will differ from photo and showroom samples.
· Do not expose your furniture to heat or liquids
· Avoid using oil/thinner based furniture cleaners. Use water based cleaners or a damp cloth only.
· Articles such as glasses, bookends, flowerpots and hot cups and dishes should have a cloth or felt type pads pm them. Beware of some felt pads that have a pre-glued side as some of these adhesives contain chemicals that can damage the finish.
· Always remember to lift objects rather than slide them across the finish.
· Tighten the nuts and bolts every few months to avoid wear and tear, especially on moving parts.
We at Futonology.com recognize that our customers expect us to support our quality products. Our warranties are a function of the products you have purchased. WE WARRANTY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER THAT THE PRODUCTS YOU HAVE PURCHASED FROM THE FUTONOLOGY.COM WILL BE FREE FROM MANUFACTURER DEFECTS IN MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP UPON DELIVERY. All warranties run from the date of purchase and the purchaser is responsible to provide their proof upon request. All warranties guidelines are provided by the product manufacture. Customer loss of proof of purchase voids manufacture warranty.
· Hardwood Frames Limited Manufacture Warranties vary from 1 to 3 years
· Metal Frames Limited Manufacture Warranties vary 30 days to 1 year
· Case goods Limited Manufacture Warranty of 1 year
· Platform beds Limited Manufacture Warranty of 1 year
· Futon Mattress: Limited Manufacture Warranties vary from 1 to 10 years
· Slipcovers & pillows: seams & zippers Limited Manufacture Warranty 30 days
All warranties are Limited warranties. Limited warranties cover manufacturer defects only and do not cover normal wear and tear or damage resulting from neglect, accidental or intentional damage, institutional or commercial use, or exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity or to weather.
Limited warranty customer responsibility: in the event of a defect occurring during the warranty period. If it is determined the result of manufacture defects in materials or workmanship, we will repair or replace the defective part or product at our discretion. If you wish us to pick up furniture items regarding warranty issues, this can be arranged by calling the original purchase location or the nearest store location.
**All returned deliveries will be charged at our standard delivery rates and are to be paid by the consumer.
** If we determine at our discretion that there is a defect covered by a manufacture warranty, we will act as a service center between the customer and manufacture. If we cannot repair or replace an item, we reserve the right to substitute a substantially similar part or product. Thank you for your business.
Returns and Cancellations Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON SPECIAL OR CUSTOM ORDERS, CLEARANCE ITEMS, SINGLE, KING AND SPLIT (TWO-PIECE) COVERS. IN ACCORDANCE WITH CALIFORNIA LAW, ALL FUTON MATTRESS SALES, FOAM FLIP CHAIRS/MAT BEDDING SALES ARE FINAL.
· You may cancel any item purchased within three (3) days of ordering.
· You may return an item within three (3) days of receiving delivery.
· Covers and pillows can be EXCHANGED within three (3) days of receipt un-opened in orginal packaging.
· All returned or cancelled items are subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.
· The customer is responsible for shipping costs.
· All merchandise exchanged or returned must be boxed/wrapped/packaged in its original condition or it will not be accepted.
· Returned items may never be used prior to their return.
· Actual shipping charges on any item or are non-refundable.
· A 20% charge will apply to any cancelled items or returned items, which can be credited to a new order of equal or greater value within three (3) months from the date of the original order. All shipping and/or delivery and assembly fees are not refundable after service has been completed.
